Dealing with drunk people is such a skill !

Bartending requires mainly focusing on customer service and mixing the right solutions to satisfy customer needs. One thing that’s proven, skills are transferable and you never know when you can use that to your advantage to become the next Audrey Hepburn or Meryl Streep.
Eloise Thomas, a 22-year-old British actress, shared her experience along with some insights from playing younger Chloe on BBC’s six-part psychological thriller series entitled Chloe.

The actress and Graphic Communication Design student at UAL reminisced about her acting journey starting at just 4-years-old.
She remembers “I was looking at primary school stuff a few months ago, and there was a little drawing of me in year 3 saying that “I want to be an actress!” so I think it's always been a passion and a goal of mine.”

Thomas remarked that although her mother was reluctant at first about her path, after her GCSE exams she was showing more support and was the person who would drive her to auditions and drama classes.
Her friends, although she never understood she said puzzled, were equally as supportive of her acting career.
Ben Keeling, a 22-year-old filmmaker and photographer and friend of Thomas’s for five years, said that she is a passionate, talented actress who is also a great all-around creative.
“Her artistic path is something to admire as she gained real success and skill in acting” Keeling added.
“I feel like I’ve come into acting at a good time,” said the 22-year-old actress.

“Chloe was my first TV role, and it was so fun getting to work with so many female filmmakers, it was amazing. Alice and Amanda who were the directors were just brilliant to work with and it was a positive learning curve.”

In between acting jobs, the actress smiled when saying she was taking up bar jobs adding that she met a lot of different people who were easy to work with as they shared similar interests.
“I feel like working at The Phoenix in Oxford Circus was fun because a lot of us were creative and young, and had similar energy,” she said.
“I’d say the main thing I took from bar work was meeting so many different interesting people, as well as dealing with drunk people, that's such a skill!”
“Being an actor is such an unpredictable job, but I think when you flip it and think differently, it’s a blessing to be able to do such a thing, so unconventional and so spontaneous,” Thomas added.
